Christelle Schultz
trained in ceramics and kintsugi during an expatriation abroad. Back in France, she settled in Pézenas and opened her workshop-boutique Atelier Céraphœne (fusion of the words "ceramic" and "phoenix").
In his work,
Christelle seeks above all to highlight the earth material. Thus several influences can emerge from her creations...
The Mediterranean
This magnificent region where the studio is located inspires the artist thanks to its history, but also to its landscapes between land and sea and the raw nature of the soils.
Wabi-Sabi
is a philosophy of life inviting us to let go and see the beauty in all imperfect and humble things; Kintsugi being part of Wabi-Sabi.
Haute Couture
In opposition to the letting go of Wabi-Sabi, there also remains this taste for perfection, technique and discreet elegance, values which have made the reputation of our French know-how abroad and to which she tends to pay homage in her collection imitating leather.
